Ripon, WI - The Praire Fire women's soccer team's top offensive threat is being recognized by the Midwest Conference (MWC).

Junior forward Arielle Dorman (Bothell, WA, Inglemoor) was named an All-MWC Second Team selection after leading Knox in five offensive categories and tying for the lead in another.

Dorman was also named Second Team All-MWC following the 2009 season. She set a school record for goals by a first-year player that year with 13 and tied the record for points in a season with 31.

Dorman finished the 2011 season with 12 goals, five assists, and 29 points. She topped on the team in goals, assists, points, shots, and shots on goal. She and two of her teammates each had one game-winning goal to tie for the lead in that category.

A threat to score at any time, Dorman finished the season in the Midwest Conference’s top 10 offensive categories eight times, including four times in the top five.

Dorman was fifth in the league in points, points per game (1.71), goals, and goals per game (0.71).  She was also seventh in shots (58), shots per game (3.41), and assists, while ranking eighth in assists per game (0.29).

Dorman won three awards for her efforts on the field this past season. She was named the MWC Women’s Soccer Performer of the Week on September 12, the same day she received the Prairie Fire Performer of the Week Award.
Dorman won the Prairie Fire Performer of the Week Award a second time on October 25.

2011 marks the third straight year the Prairie Fire women’s soccer team has had an All-Midwest Conference selection.
