NORTHFIELD, Minnesota – A goal by the Prairie Fire's top scorer and a strong defensive effort resulted in a 1-0 victory over Coe on Sunday in the ACM Soccer Showcase.

Nathaniel Logie (Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Queens Royal College) kicked in the lone goal of the match – his third of the season – at the 19:38 mark to provide all the scoring Knox needed against the Kohawks.
The Prairie Fire (2-2) went 1-1 in the showcase after opening play at Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) power St. Olaf College on Friday.
Logie was on the attack for Knox all day, firing a team-high six shots that included four at Coe goalkeeper Eric Hoar. The shot that went in was off a rebound.
Knox held a big edge in total shots, 20-3. The Kohawks (1-3) managed just one shot at senior Prairie Fire goalie
Sean Dockrell (Dublin, Ireland, San Bernadino CC), who made the save and earned the shutout.
The Prairie Fire play their next two matches, both non-conference, at home on
Jorge Prats Field. First is Marian University (WI) on Saturday, September 13 at 1:30. Concordia University (MN) visits on Sunday, September 14 for a contest that also begins at 1:30 p.m.
