Marcia is the second woman to be honored tonight in the initial group of inductees into the Hall of Fame. She had a very outstanding athletic career in her 4 years at Knox. Her accomplishments were many. They are:

4 letters in women’s tennis- voted most valuable player twice.

4 letters in women’s basketball-voted most valuable player 3 times- co-captain of the team for 2 years- named to the All-State team.

After graduating from Knox Marcia was employed as a financial analyst by the Northern Trust Co. of Chicago. She also was the visiting assistant professor in the Department of Finance at the University of Colorado. Her graduate work was done at the University of Indiana where she received a $1,000 fellowship from the Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation, a national business organization. It was at Indiana University where she earned both the M.B. A. and Ph.D degrees.
Presently Marcia who lives in Brighton, Massachusetts, is assistant professor in the Department of Finance at Boston College.
