A native of Knoxville, Illinois, Rollin Huggins graduated from Knox in 1926 and Harvard Law School in 1929. At Knox, he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and earned letters in football and track. In his senior year, Huggins was elected captain of the track team and won honors in the Illinois indoor Relays, the Drake Relays and the Little 19 Conference 440-yard dash. After earning his law degree, he became a member of the Chicago firm of Cooke, Sullivan and Ricks until 1943, when he joined the legal department of Northern Trust Company, of Chicago. He retired in 1969 and now lives in Naples, Florida.
