Knox College Prairie Fire

First-year Erin Orr helped Knox get off to a strong start in league play with a team-high 22 points in a 108-100 win over Carroll University at home on November 19.

A forward, Orr made 11-of-13 shots and also led Knox with seven rebounds.  The victory snapped a five-game slide against Carroll that dated back to the 2011-12 season and marked the first win by the Prairie Fire to begin MWC play since the 2009-10 campaign.

Orr has been a valuable addition to a Knox team that’s won two straight games and is averaging 104.3 points per contest, which ranks second in NCAA Division III behind North Central College (108.5 ppg).

Orr is averaging 11.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, and shooting 57.7 percent through the Prairie Fire’s first three games.
