Knox College Strength and Conditioning
Mission Statement: The goal of Knox Strength and Conditioning is to provide a positive and encouraging environment to help athletes improve in the off-season through specific strength programs designed for each team. Each athlete will have the opportunity to work with a certified strength and conditioning coach and all sessions are optional. Proper technique and safety will be stressed at all times. Character development will also be part of the program. The Knox Strength and Conditioning program will strive to enhance the overall Knox student-athlete experience.
- Work with head coaches to design programs to help athletes improve performance
- All teams will focus on certain core lifts with auxiliary lifts being more sport specific
- Focus at all times will be on proper technique and safety
- All athletes will use our Volt strength app with team workouts so they can track their progress/improvement
- All programs are voluntary but once in attendance, all athletes will be expected to follow the designed program and make great effort
- Summer programs will be written and programmed for each team in the Volt app
- The strength staff has made technique lifting videos
