Knox College Prairie Fire

Gavazzi was a key contributor to a pair of Knox wins last week, including one in Midwest Conference play.

A junior guard, Gavazzi hit all six of her free throw attempts and scored 13 points in a 100-89 victory at home against Illinois College on December 9.  She followed with another 13 point effort as Knox ran past Caltech 95-69 last Sunday in Pasadena, California.

Gavazzi has scored in double-figures in four of the last five games and is averaging 9.4 points per game.  She entered this week ranked third in the Midwest Conference with 16 3-point field goals and sixth in 3-point shooting at 40 percent.
