Knox College Prairie Fire

Senior Karl Ruzgas had the best day of his career by going 4-0 against North Central College and Simpson College in the first matches of the season on February 7.  His previous best was three wins against Lake Forest College and St. Norbert College on April 5, 2014.

A four-year starter, Ruzgas defeated his #2 singles opponent from North Central 7-5, 6-2.  He made it two straight wins with a 6-2, 7-6 (7-0) decision against Simpson.

Ruzgas teamed up with senior Walter Palmer to post a pair of #1 doubles victories.  They downed North Central 8-4 and then rolled to an 8-2 win against their counterparts from Simpson.

Knox fell 6-3 against North Central and bounced back with a 5-4 win over Simpson to open the 2015 campaign.
