Knox College Prairie Fire

Chenoweth had a career day at the 2012 Midwest Conference Indoor Rrack and Field Championships last week at Illinois College, earning him the Prairie Fire Performer of the Week Award.

Chenoweth continued his recent success in the shot put. He placed second with a career-best throw of 46’ 2 ¾” and an eighth place ranking on Knox's all-time individual list for the event.

Chenoweth closed out the regular season on February 18 with a third place finish in the shot at the University of Dubuque. His distance of 45’ 7.24” was the longest of his career - until the MWC meet throw - and ranked second in the Midwest Conference.
