Knox College Prairie Fire

Weaver was exceptional on offense during nine games Knox played in Fort Myers, Florida between March 13 and 19.  He battered opposing pitchers to the tune of a .571 average and was named the winner of the Prairie Fire Performer of the Week award for his efforts.

Weaver had at least one hit in all of the games played in Florida.  He wound up with 20 hits in 35 at-bats with two home runs and 14 runs batted in.  Weaver also scored 10 runs, hit four doubles and three triples.

He’s continued his hot hitting as the Prairie Fire meets Midwest Conference South Division opponents.  Weaver is hitting a team-high .500 with three home runs and 20 RBI.  In addition, his .860 slugging percentage ranks second in the Midwest Conference and his also among the league leaders with his .554 on base percentage.
