Knox College Prairie Fire

Prairie Fire quarterback Luke Oosterbaan is the latest recipient of the Prairie Fire Performer of the Week award for his big game in a win at home against Beloit College.

Knox earned its victory of the year, a 35-33 Midwest Conference triumph against the Buccaneers on October 6.  Oosterbaan was instrumental in the win both throwing and running the football. 

Oosterbaan completed an efficient 9-of-14 passes for 100 yards and three touchdowns.  He also had a key 23-yard run, his longest of the season, late in the game against Beloit that resulted in a first down and allowed Knox to run out the clock and secure the victory.

On the season, Oosterbaan has completed 51 passes for 650 yards and six touchdowns.  He’s also rushed for one score.
