Knox College Prairie Fire

Junior Arielle Dorman (Bothell, WA) has become the leading scorer and essential force of the Prairie Fire Women’s Soccer team, earning her the first Prairie Fire Performer of the Week Award for the 2011-2012 school year.

As a first-year player, Arielle performed on the All-Midwest Conference Second Team. She was the team’s second leading scorer last season. On September 12, she was named the Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week for her combined four goals and four assists in the team’s home-opening win against MacMurray College and a shutout victory against Eureka College, making the “Prairie Fire Performer of the Week” her second award this week for her efforts on the field. Despite an injury early on in the season, Arielle was able to score a total of 16 points in 15 games.
