Knox College Prairie Fire

Ventris is undefeated in his last three matches wrestling at 174 pounds, earning the first Prairie Fire Performer of the Week Award for the winter sports season.

Ventris, a sophomore, won both of his matches against the University of Dubuque and Augustana College on November 14 at T. Fleming Fieldhouse.  He beat Dubuque’s Dalton Grinstead by a 5-3 decision and won a 1-0 decision against Connor Cummings of Augustana.

Ventris began his string of three straight victories in the season-opening Knox Invitational on November 10.  He won a 9-3 decision against Tim Miller of Calumet College of St. Joseph.

Ventris tries for his fourth consecutive win when he and his teammates participate in the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) Invitational on December 1 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
