Knox College Prairie Fire

A sophomore punter from Melbourne, Florida, Walker played his part in trying to subdue a University of Chicago team that had defeated Knox last year by a 63-0 score. His first punt was his longest of the season at 51 yards, which was downed at the Maroons’ 5-yard line. In the third quarter, he added a 47-yard boot that was muffed, resulting in a 49-yard net. For the game, he averaged 42.75 yards on four punts, though the Prairie Fire came up short in the end, 27-13. Walker was an All-Midwest Conference Second Team punter as a first-year in 2023.
