Knox College Prairie Fire

All 11 Prairie Fire runners who competed in the championships recorded a personal-best time, and Cecilia Goodin was no exception. The sophomore from Gibson City, Illinois, completed the 6K course at Reid Municipal Golf Course in Appleton, Wisconsin, in 24:18.54, nearly 30 seconds faster than her previous best. She narrowly missed out on all-conference honors by virtue of her finish in 22nd place (top 20 receive All-MWC recognition), but she led Knox to seventh place in the team standings, the highest finish for for the Prairie Fire in 24 years.
