Knox College Prairie Fire

A senior guard from Park Ridge, Illinois, Sean Gallery became the 14th player in program history to score 1,000 points in a career by providing more than 20 in each of the three men’s games during the two-week span, helping the Prairie Fire win twice. First he poured in 29 points while hauling in 11 rebounds in a 77-59 triumph at Westminster College (Mo.) on Nov. 19 for his first double-double of the season. He came right back four days later to drop 23 points to go with a dozen boards in the home opener against Blackburn College to lead Knox to an 84-80 win. Although his 25 points wasn’t enough to carry the Fire to a third straight victory, it did push him past the four-digit milestone, leaving him with 1,003 points. Over the three games he hit 58.3 percent (28-of-48) of his field goal attempts, including 3-of-4 behind the arc, averaging 25.7 points per game.
