Knox College Prairie Fire

Bria Medina, a sophomore guard from Tucson, Arizona, averaged 27.0 points, 5.5 rebound and 4.0 assists in the two Prairie Fire victories over the past two weeks. First, she scored 17 points with five assists and a pair of steals in a 101-70 road win at Eureka College on Nov. 19. But she feasted on Millikin University two days before Thanksgiving, producing a career-high 37 points and grabbing a season-high six rebounds in an 84-74 home victory. The 2024 Midwest Conference Newcomer of the Year was quite the efficient shooter, hitting 20-of-31 field goals (.645) over the two games, including her only 3-point attempt, and 13-of-16 free throws (.813). Those 37 points tied her for the second-most scored in a game by a Knox player.
