Knox College Prairie Fire

Sarina Dacio, a fifth-year guard from San Diego, California, averaged 10.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals in four Prairie Fire games over the past two weeks. But most significantly, she became only the fourth woman to score 1,000 points at Knox College, surpassing the milestone in the 74-58 victory against Lawrence at home on Dec. 11. She is also on the verge of setting the program record for 3-pointers in a career, needing just five more to break the mark of 179 held by Karlie Thorn ’19. In the most recent game, Dacio knocked down a trio of triples and led the Prairie Fire with 15 points at Ripon College.
