Sophomore Bria Medina, who is third in the Midwest Conference in scoring at 17.5 points per game, led Knox to one of its highest-scoring games ever in a 119-85 victory over Lake Forest College last Wednesday. The point guard from Tucson, Arizona, put up a team-high 23 points on 6-of-7 field goals and 11-of-14 free throws to allow her to post her third 20-point game of the season and ninth of her career. In addition, the 2024 Midwest Conference Newcomer of the Year chipped in four rebounds and four assists without committing a turnover, all in only 23 minutes on the court.
