Knox College Prairie Fire

Bria Medina, who was named the Midwest Conference Performer of the Week yesterday for the third time this season, led the Prairie Fire in scoring in both victories last week, scoring 18 points in a 64-60 win over Cornell College and 23 more in an 80-78 road win at Lake Forest. It was her scoop shot in the lane with 1.8 seconds left that lifted Knox to victory over the Foresters. The point guard from Tucson, Arizona, ranks second in the Midwest Conference in scoring at 17.9 points per game and has topped 20 points in a game five times this season.
