Aidan McMurtrie, a 6-2 second baseman from Seattle, Washington, hit safely in each of the five games he played in on the Florida spring break trip last week, hitting .375/.524/.563 in the contests with a double and a triple while scoring three runs, driving in seven and stealing three bases in as many attempts. He also fielded his position at second base flawlessly in 29 chances, helping to turn four double plays. Against Salem State, he had a pair of RBIs to contribute to the 12-4 win, and he scored once and plated a run in a 7-6 triumph over Framingham State. For the season, McMurtrie is hitting .324 and is second on the team with nine walks and 10 RBIs.
