For Altynai Ruslanova to earn this honor, she simply recorded two personal-best times at the Fighting Scots Invitational hosted by Monmouth this past Saturday. The rookie placed 11th in the women’s 100 meters, matching her previous best of 14.94 seconds, while her 30.89-second time in the women’s 200 meters left her in ninth place, cutting three-tenths of a second off her personal best time.
