Lance Miller, a native of Mascoutah, Illinois, opened the 2025 season by earning a spot on the podium at the Bob Schultz Invite hosted by Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, on Aug. 29. The 2024 runner-up at the Midwest Conference Championship completed the 5K course in 15:27.1, good for third overall. This was his fifth career top-three finish for the men’s cross country team.
