Knox College Prairie Fire

Zoe Thunhurst, a native of Garland, Texas, was utilized like a Swiss Army knife for the Prairie Fire last week, performing the duties of a setter, outside hitter and defensive specialist at various times. First, she led Knox with 12 assists and added 13 digs for a double-double against Rockford University. Then on Saturday for Homecoming, Thunhurst posted career highs of 10 kills and five service aces, plus led the team with 21 digs for another double-double to help the Prairie Fire defeat Beloit in four sets, evening the team’s Midwest Conference record at 1-1.
