A women's soccer player who has a knack for scoring is the recipient of her second Prairie Fire Performer of the Week Award.
Junior Arielle Dorman (Bothell, Washington) -- pictured to the right  -- earned the honor after scoring a pair of goals and assisting on  another October 22 at Lawrence University.  She's scored two goals in three matches this season, and one or more in eight of the Prairie Fire's 14 matches to date.
A forward, Dorman leads the women's soccer team in five offensive categories: goals, assists, points, shots, and shots on goal.
Dorman is also among the offensive players in the Midwest  Conference.  She's ranked in the top 10 in eight categories, and in the  top five in six offensive categories.
Dorman is fifth with 11 goals, fifth with 0.79 goals per match,  fourth with 3.71 shots per match, seventh in total shots with 52, fifth  with 27 points, fifth with 1.93 points per match, sixth with five  assists, and fifth with 0.36 assists per match.
An All-Midwest Conference selection in 2009, Dorman was named the  Midwest Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Performer of the Week on  September 12.  She won her first Prairie Fire Performer of the Week  Award of the fall season on September 14.
Dorman and her Prairie  Fire teammates host a Midwest Conference match October 26 at Jorge Prats  Field against Illinois College (4-8-4, 0-4-3 MWC).  The contest is  scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m.
