Knox College Prairie Fire

Theisen was a key contributor in a pair of Prairie Fire victories last week.

Knox defeated Bethany Lutheran College 105-97 at Memorial Gymnasium on January 6 and followed with a 104-99 Midwest Conference road win against Grinnell College on January 8.

Theisen averaged 16 points, five rebounds, and made 63 percent of her shots in the two games.  She was 7-of-10 from the floor and finished with 19 points and six rebounds in the victory over Bethany Lutheran.  She had her fourth straight double-figure scoring game against Grinnell with 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting and three free throws.

Theisen is averaging 12.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and she's shooting 55.7 percent, which ranks third in the Midwest Conference.  She's also seventh in the league in offensive rebounds per game, eighth in blocked shots, and 15th in scoring.

A co-captain for the Prairie Fire, Theisen has been a force with averages of 18 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 63.8 percent shooting in her last four games.  That includes a career-high 21 points at Carroll University on January 4.
