Knox College Prairie Fire

Khan was clutch for the Prairie Fire in a win over the University of Dubuque on February 22 at Lakeside Tennis Center in Galesburg.

Khan won his first varsity singles match, which snapped a tie and lifted Knox to a 5-4 decision against the Spartans. 

Knox and UD were knotted up at 4-4 when Khan and Sean O'Meara squared off in the deciding #6 singles match.  O'Meara gained the upper hand with a 7-6 (7-3) win the first set, but Khan responded in a big way.  He posted a 6-1 victory in the second set, and then followed with a 6-3 win in the third set to take the match.

The win marked the second straight for the Prairie Fire and improved the team's record to 3-3 on the season.
