Knox College Prairie Fire

Palmer swept the day against Lawrence University and Wartburg College on March 1 at Lakeside Tennis Center.

Palmer won both of his #1 singles matches and contributed to a pair of #1 doubles wins in a split for Knox.  Lawrence clipped the Prairie Fire 5-4 before Knox rebounded with a 5-4 win against Wartburg.

Palmer teamed up with fellow junior Karl Ruzgas to defeat LU's Brian DeCorte and Jeremy Andereck 8-1 in their doubles contest.  Palmer then won his singles match against DeCorte 6-2, 6-2.

The results were nearly identical against Wartburg.

Palmer and Ruzgas rolled to an 8-1 victory against the Knights' doubles team of Dayton Stevens and Koo Miyake.  Palmer earned his second singles win of the day by defeating Miyake 6-2, 6-1.

The victory against Wartburg was the third for the Prairie Fire in their last four matches.
