Borre tossed a gem in a 12-1 Knox win over Illinois College last Sunday in Springfield, Illinois. 

The junior southpaw allowed only one run and six hits with no walks and a season-high eight strikeouts in a key Midwest Conference South Division game.

Four of the six hits by IC against Borre were singles, and five of the eight hitters he struck out did so looking.

Borre (2-1) has won his last two decisions and he leads the pitching staff with two complete games.  He’s also the team leader with 12 strikeouts in 12 innings of work in conference games.
