GALESBURG, Illinois – A goal in overtime sealed a thrilling 2-1 victory by the Prairie Fire over Concordia University (WI) on Sunday at Jorge Prats Field.

The Prairie Fire (4-2) came out on top in the physical match when junior

Andy Van Buskirk (Overland Park, KS, Rockhurst).
The Falcons (2-5) got on the board first on an own goal by Knox 28:22 into the match.
Knox held a 9-7 edge in total shots. Both teams took four shots on goal. Knox senior keeper

The Prairie Fire improved to 3-0 at home this season and 12-1 over the past two seasons. The only loss was against nationally ranked Depaw University in the 2013 season-opener.
Knox plays at MacMurray on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. in the annual Ferris Cup match. Knox is 2-0 in the rivalry against the Highlanders.
