BELOIT, Wisconsin—The Prairie Fire softball team dropped a doubleheader to Beloit to conclude their season on Saturday.
 
Knox (1-27, 0-18 MWC) scored first in game one, but the Buccaneers responded with runs of their own to take an early lead. The Prairie Fire pushed across a run in the third inning, but Beloit took over from there to earn an 11-3 victory. The Buccaneers scored first in game two, but Knox came right back in the bottom half to knot the score at 3-3. The Prairie Fire added three more runs in the second to take a lead they would hold until the top of the seventh inning. Beloit scored six runs in the seventh and Knox was only able to push across one run in the bottom half to end up on the losing end, 9-7.
 
Kaly Davidson had a big day at the plate in her final games in the purple and gold with four hits in six at bats. She also scored four runs a drove in another. Emily Stevenson also tallied four hits in seven at bats and a team-high four RBI. Chelsey Howard finished her career with two hits including an RBI and two runs scored.
