LAKE FOREST, Illinois—The Prairie Fire men's soccer team won their fourth straight and 11
th of their last 12 with a 1-0 victory over Lake Forest on Sunday.
Knox (11-3-1, 6-1-0 MWC) and the Foresters played to a scoreless tie through the first half, but Knox found the back of the net early in the second half when Jun Min found Nick Janulis in the 52
nd minute.
Shots were even between the two teams, with 10 apiece. Goalkeeper Justin Dunn grabbed four saves on the way to his eighth shutout of the season. He now stands alone in Midwest Conference history with 29 career shutouts after tying the record in a win over Beloit on Saturday.
Knox will return home on October 18 to battle Loras before another conference road trip to Lawrence on October 20.
