KISSIMMEE, Florida—The Prairie Fire baseball team dropped a pair of games in Florida to kick off spring break.

Husson scored a run in the top of the first inning in game one to take an early lead and added on five runs in the third to expand their lead. The Eagles scored five more runs over the next three innings and held on for an 11-0 victory.

Husson scored in each of the first two innings in the second game to pull ahead early. The Eagles put up 13 runs in the fourth inning to take a commanding lead and held on for a 15-1 win.

Brendan Powers led the Prairie Fire with three hits in five at bats on the day. Dalton James also finished 2-for-4 on the day. Ben Bartholomew knocked in the lone run for Knox to earn the first hit and RBI in his collegiate career.

Knox will return to action on March 15 when they battle Olivet College.
