ST. LOUIS, Missouri—The Prairie Fire men's tennis team picked up an 8-1 victory over Fontbonne on Saturday morning.

Ajay Gustafson won 6-1, 6-0 at #2 singles. He also teamed up with Arthur Batista to win 8-3 at #1 doubles.

Brad Newland (6-0, 6-3) and Jared Schwarz (6-1, 6-0) won at #3 and #4 singles, respectively. They also teamed up to win 8-0 at #2 doubles.

Dobbin Pine picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win at #5 singles and Eric Xu won by default at #6 singles. Pine and Xu also won by default at #3 doubles.

"The team played some great tennis today," said head coach Meredith Witherell. "Every match was fun to watch."

Knox will remain in the St. Louis area to play Webster on Sunday.
