ROCHESTER, Minnesota—The Prairie Fire softball team dropped a pair of games at the Luther Dome Tournament on Sunday.
Â
Bethel put six runs on the board in the bottom of the first in game one to take an early lead. They tacked on three in the third to earn a five inning 9-0 victory.
Â
St. Olaf plated nine runs in the top of the first in game two. Knox settled in and gave up just three more runs, but the damage was done and St. Olaf won 12-0.
Â
Mady Ferris, Britney Salinas, Casey Kipp, Sara Lynch, and Dakota Davis notched hits for the Prairie Fire.
Â
"Another set of tough opponents," said head coach Erin Rutledge. "Our hits will come, but we have to firm up some things and we should be fine."
Â
Knox returns to action at The Spring Games in Orlando, Florida during spring break.
