VERNON HILLS, Illinois - The Prairie Fire women's golf team competed at the Forester Spring Invite on Saturday.

Knox placed eighth overall with 493 total strokes.

Mariah Barlow paced the Prairie Fire with a total of 110.

"We are coming along," said head coach KC Harding. "We have one more opportunity to compete this year and we are going to make the most of it."

The Prairie Fire will travel to the SLIAC Conference Tournament on May 1 and 2.
