JACKSONVILLE, Illinois - The Prairie Fire women's golf team competed in the first day of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Tournament on Saturday.

Knox is currently in fourth place after the first round of play after carding a 456 on day one.

Alex Marcoullier and Mariah Barlow pace the Prairie Fire with scores of 105 through one round.

"We played some of our best golf all season today," said head coach KC Harding. "We will attempt to finish strong tomorrow."

The second and final round of the SLIAC Tournament begins at 9:00 a.m. on May 2.
