DAVENPORT, Florida - The Prairie Fire baseball team dropped their final spring break game 9-2 to Keuka on Monday.

Chris McTeague put Knox on the board first with a bases loaded single to score Braden Ogden and EJ Roncone in the second inning.

The Wolves responded with two runs of their own in the bottom half to knot the score at 2-2.

Keuka added six runs in the third inning to take a commanding lead and they held on for the victory.

Roncone and McTeague led Knox with two hits each in four at bats. Ogden, Ben Bucher, and Evan Laws each added a hit.

"We played well other than one bad inning," said associate head coach James Clark. "We have to learn to limit those big innings and limit strikeouts at the plate, but otherwise played a solid game all around."

Knox returns home to Illinois and will host Chicago on March 26 to open Midwest Conference play.
