GALESBURG, Ill. — Knox College has named junior Bria Medina and sophomore Noah Campbell its Male and Female Athletes of the Week for Dec. 16-22 events.

Averaging 21 points in Knox's two games at the Hoops in Hawai'i Classic, Medina, a 5-6 guard from Tucson, Arizona, also recorded 10 rebounds, three assists, and five steals while playing 30.5 minutes per game. She went 11-29 from the field, 3-5 from three, and 17-18 from the free throw line. The women are next in action on January 3, when they visit Lake Forest College. 

Campbell, a 5-10 guard from Villa Park, Illinois, averaged 11.3 points per game over three contests for Knox, adding 10 rebounds, seven assists, and four steals in games vs. Coe, Williams, and SUNY Maritime. Against SUNY Maritime, he scored a team-high 18 points in 27 minutes. The Knox College men are next in action on Dec. 31, hosting Millikin.

The Knox athletics department will announce the Athletes of the Week every Tuesday afternoon throughout the athletic calendar.
