GALESBURG, IL - Knox was unable to come from behind and take down Lawrence as the Vikings buried a pair of goals in the first half and escaped town with a 2-0 victory.
The Prairie Fire surrendered a pair of goals in the first half of the Midwest Conference match against the Lawrence Vikings. One was midway through the half and the other came in the 43rd minute.
Alessandro Carlani faced five shots throughout the match and was able to stop a trio of them.
Knox was unable to get much going on the offensive end of the pitch as the Vikings were able to shut them out.
The loss drops Knox to 3-5-3 and 2-2-1 in the Midwest Conference. The Prairie Fire will have a week off from matches before they take on Illinois College on Saturday afternoon in Jacksonville, IL.
