PEORIA, ILL - Going up against all sorts of collegiate competition, including NCAA Division I schools, Ratner and Conwell found a way to place high for Knox in the Bradley Intercollegiate Championships on a rainy afternoon.

In the men's 8k race, Misha Ratner was the first Prairie Fire to cross the finish line with a 27:37.7 time. Ratner's time was good enough to place 29th in the event, taking on schools like Bradley and Drake.

Following the men's race, the women's three mile took place and Elsie Conwell led the way for Knox finishing in 32nd. She ran her three mile in 19:54.3 while going up against the same competition as the men did.

On the men's side, Ridesh Rokaha Chettri and Max Lawrence were second and third for Knox with times of 31:49.4 and 32:06.0, respectively. Nicolette Walsh also finished in the top 50 with a time of 22:48.6 in the women's three mile.

The next time the Prairie Fire will race is on Saturday, October 3 when they head to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the Seminole Valley Stampede.
