Knox College Prairie Fire

 

The original tennis courts were built in 1946 and paid for by the Class of 1946. They were located just south of Taylor Lounge. The Merdian Tennis Courts were built in 1998 to replace the original courts. There are six all-weather cushioned playing surfaces. Resurfaced in 2015 and fully screened, the Merdian Tennis Courts are home to the Prairie Fire men's and women's tennis teams. Located on-campus next to the residence halls, Knox's home tennis matches during the fall season are often watched by students in their suites.
