Knox College Prairie Fire

2022 - Had an extremely successful 2022, slashing .333/.452/.450 with a .902 OPS, and collecting 5 extra base hits among his 20 hits in limited playing time...added 6 HBPs in 60 At bats...Odgen worked mostly as a backup to the starting catcher, Etienne Thomas, but did see playing time at DH and 1B in an attempt to fit his production into the lineup....was one of only two Knox players to go 4/4 in a game, a feat he achieved in a crucial late season matchup vs Grinnell....also tied Brayden Bathgate and Christopher McTeague with 4 RBIs in a single game, which he did vs Lawrence.

2021 - Saw limited playing time, but slashed .259/.364/.333 in 27 at bats....started his collegiate career off hot, collecting hits in 3 of his first 5 games, including a 3 RBI explosion vs Beloit.

High School - Attended Washington Community High School.....hit .556, and tallied 53 RBIs and a Cycle while playing for the Panthers.

Why did you Choose Knox? - "I chose Knox because it allows me the opportunity to pursue a good education, while also getting the opportunity to competitively play baseball" 

Why I love My Sport - "Baseball is a cat and mouse sport in nature, where a hitter has to outsmart the pitcher and vice versa. The Challenges that come with hitting and fielding, and being able to overcome them, is a fabulous feeling."
