Steve Hoosen joined the Prairie Fire baseball coaching staff in the fall of 2012 after spending the last four years as a coach at Galesburg High School.  Hoosen has also served as an assistant coach the past five summers for the Galesburg American Legion Post 285 baseball team.

Hoosen played for coach Jami Isaacson at Knox College.  He earned All-Midwest Conference First Team honors as a utility player in 2006 and as a pitcher in 2007.
