The transfer from Crown College played in 32 games in his first season with the Prairie Fire, starting 26 times in the lineup … led the team with two triples … made quite the splash in his Knox debut with three hits at Anderson University … also hit a triple in the final game against the Ravens … stroked a two-run double in an 8-2 win over Maine-Presque Isle … drove in two more runs against Principia in the very next game, a 17-0 victory … laced an RBI triple in the ninth to break a 6-6 tie then scored shortly thereafter, sending Knox to an 8-7 triumph over Keuka … doubled, walked, stole a base, scored twice and drove in a run in an 11-5 win over Eureka … also gunned down a runner at third from right field in the game.
