One of the top relievers on the team, boasting the second-best ERA (2.81) of anyone to throw a pitch all season … struck out 20 batters in 16.0 innings, and the opposition hit just .250 against him … tossed a scoreless stanza with two punchouts in his first outing, a 14-0 win over Fontbonne … had three consecutive appearances of recording three outs (two on strikes) without allowing a run, all in one-run games, two of which Knox won … shut Lawrence down on three hits over a season-long three-inning outing, fanning a personal-best four batters … twirled a pair of scoreless frames in an outing at Cornell College … final appearance was an eighth-inning goose egg at Grinnell.

Appeared in nine games, all out of the bullpen, four of which Knox won … got his first two collegiate strikeouts in an inning of work against Eureka … struck out the side in a scoreless stanza versus Principia … earned the victory by getting the final four outs against Keuka in an 8-7 win, allowing just one unearned run … in next outing, picked up a save with a shutout ninth while leaving the bases loaded in a 5-4 win over Wisconsin-Eau Claire … fanned three in an inning of work versus Lawrence … did not allow a run in his last three outings spanning three innings.
