Knox College Prairie Fire

A member of the Knox College Class of 2021, Casey Hipp joined the coaching staff as an assistant for the 2022-23 academic year. She was elevated to interim head coach during the 2024 campaign and earned the full-time job in advance of the 2025 season.

Hipp hit .283 with 27 doubles, a pair of home runs and 68 RBIs in 382 at-bats for the Prairie Fire during career, starting each of the 137 games during her five seasons (including the shortened COVID year) on the team. She was second on the Knox team in RBIs as both a first-year and sophomore, then led the team in that statistical category during the 2021 season. A four-time Midwest Conference All-Academic performer, Hipp capped her career by hitting a personal-best .341 in 2022.

In addition to her coaching duties, Hipp helps with strength and conditioning and serves as the assistant sports information director.

Hipp, who grew up in Crown Point, Indiana, graduated from Knox with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a double minor in business and anthropology. She current lives in Galesburg with her dog, Willow.
