Played and started 31 of the 36 games … led the Prairie Fire in OPS (.820) and was second in batting (.327) and runs scored (16) while leading the squad and ranking seventh in the conference with 10 doubles … boasted eight multi-hit games, banging out three knocks on three occasions … had an 11-game hitting streak that coincided with a stretch of reaching base in 13 consecutive games … drove in the first run with a double in the sixth and the last with a single in the seventh while going 3-for-4 to send Knox to a 5-1 victory over St. Scholastica … had a single and a double in each game on March 19, scoring three runs … in a doubleheader sweep of Beloit, had a single, two doubles, two RBIs and three runs, the last one coming extra innings of game two to break a 1-1 deadlock … had three hits in an 8-4 loss to Ripon … key to the start of a four-game winning streak — the team’s longest in 18 years — by driving in three runs in the 5-3 win over Lawrence … doubled and scored in the 8-0 win over the Vikings later that day … smacked a two-bagger for the third straight contest while going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and an RBI in a 10-2 victory over Harris-Stowe … walked twice and scored twice in the season-ending 8-3 win over Cornell College.

Started all 28 games as a rookie, finishing third on the team in batting (.254), hits (18) and RBIs (7) … had two hits in a game on four occasions … singled against Beloit in first collegiate at-bat … was a perfect 2-for-2 with an RBI in the first game against Monmouth College … went 2-for-3 with a two-run double to help Knox defeat Cornell College, 3-2 … from that point on, hit .310 (13-for-42) for the rest of the season … singled, doubled and drove in the Prairie Fire’s lone run in a 7-1 loss to Beloit … drove in a pair of runs with a squeeze bunt and a bunt single in a 10-2 run-rule win over Monmouth … final multi-hit game included a double in a 1-0 defeat against Cornell.
