Academic All-Midwest Conference Spring Team again … Played in 15 games, starting four … saw quite a bit of time as a defensive replacement … hit .286 in 21 at-bats … doubled and scored the first run to help Knox overcome a 3-0 deficit and beat Carleton College, 4-3 … lone RBI came on a sacrifice fly in a 12-4 victory over Salem State … continued to pound Grinnell pitching, going 3-for-6 in his two starts in the series against the Pioneers, including his only multi-hit game of the season … hit by a pitch twice, both coming as a pinch hitter.
2024
Academic All-Midwest Conference Spring Team again … played in 25 games and started all but one of those ... hit .276, was second on the squad with eight stoeln bases third with 22 runs … main catalyst in the 8-2 win over Maine-Presque Isle, going 2-for-4 with a walk, three runs and three stolen bases … had at least two hits in each of the three games against Grinnell, going 7-for-16 for the series with six runs and four RBIs … went 4-for-10 with an RBI in the final two games against Cornell College.
2023
Named to Academic All-Midwest Conference Spring Team … appearend in 22 games, starting 13 as a rookie ... first collegiate hit was an RBI single in a 7-4 win over UHSP … drove in two runs and scored two others in the wild 12-11 win over Colby-Sawyer, helping the Prairie Fire overcome a 10-2 deficit in the eighth … first extra-base hit was a double at Ripon … doubled and drove in three runs against both Illinois College and Grinnell.
HIGH SCHOOL
Earned four letters in soccer and three in baseball at Byron High … three-time all-conference in soccer and all-sectional another year, plus three-time all-conference in baseball … helped the baseball team win two regional championships, the second in his senior campaign.

Son of Mark and Brynn Mathieu has one sister, Arynn … born on Sept. 28, 2003 … minoring in English/literature … plans on pursuing a graduate degree while coaching either soccer or baseball as a grad assistant … came to Knox to play both soccer and baseball while receiving a high-quality education at a small institution where I knew I would fit in … enjoys reading, spending time with firends and watching sports.
