Emini had a record-breaking day at home agianst Grinnell College on Saturday, October 25.
The junior wide receiver caught 16 passes for 160 yards and one touchdown in the game on Stisser Field at the Knosher Bowl. Â Emini's 16 receptions broke the previous Knox football single-game record of 15 he shared with John Durocher, who set the original record against Cornell College in 1981.
A three-year starter for the Prairie Fire, Emini leads the Midwest Conference with 68 receptions and an average of 9.7 receptions per game which also ranks second in NCAA Division III. He’s fourth in the MWC in receiving yards per game with an average of 82.3.
In addition, Emini’s 68 receptions so far this season ranks sixth all-time at Knox while his 131 career receptions places him eighth all-time.
